What we collect

• Order information — name, shipping address, email, and the items you buy. Payment card details go directly to our payment processors (Stripe and PayPal); we never see or store your full card number.
• Email address — when you place an order, join our newsletter, request a discount code, or enter a contest.
• Contest entries — the story you submit, your email, and an optional first name.
• Chat messages — what you type to our shopping assistant, so it can answer you and so we can improve it.
• Basic site data — pages viewed, device and browser type, and referring links, collected through standard web technologies and cookies.

How we use it

• To process, ship, and support your orders, and to send order receipts and shipping updates.
• To deliver discount codes you request and to honor them at checkout.
• To administer contests: verify eligibility, judge entries, notify winners, and fulfill prizes. Contest stories may be published in anonymized form as described in the contest's Official Rules.
• To send marketing emails only if you sign up for them. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Entering a contest or making a purchase does not by itself subscribe you to marketing.
• To keep the site secure, prevent fraud, and understand how the store is used.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the store: payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), print-on-demand production and shipping partners, email delivery services, an AI service that screens contest submissions for spam (it does not retain or train on your story), and our web hosting and analytics providers. They may use your information only to perform services for us. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use cookies and browser storage to keep items in your bag, remember dismissed banners and discount codes, and measure site traffic. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the bag and saved codes may stop working if you do.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting, tax, and customer-service purposes. Contest entries are kept through the contest, winner selection, and any publication described in the Official Rules. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from marketing any time using the link in any email, or by emailing us.
• Ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@verifiedfunny.com. We will respond within 30 days. Some information (like completed order records) may need to be retained where the law requires.
• Residents of California and other states with privacy laws may have additional rights; contact us and we will honor them.

Children

Our store and contests are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will change the “Last Updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
